IOWA CITY, Iowa – Anna Bacon-Silveira, a 39-year-old Iowa woman, is sobering up behind bars after becoming irate and going upside the head of a salon employee with a towel because she was denied service Tuesday afternoon.

Zender’s Salon & Spa employees denied Bacon-Silveira a bikini wax because they believed she was intoxicated. According to Iowa City cops, Anna became so upset she “assaulted an employee by snapping a towel at her.”

Bacon-Silveira fled the salon on foot, but was picked up by cops when she was spotted running behind the Iowa City Police Department headquarters, which is a block from Zender’s. Cops noted that a wobbly Bacon-Silveira “appeared to be very intoxicated admitted to having a few drinks.”

Although the employee was not injured, Bacon-Silveira was slapped with misdemeanor assault and public intoxication charges. She immediately pleaded guilty to both charges and was ordered to pay a $390 fine.

Keith Gruber, a 49-year-old Monticello, N.Y. man will be spending time in jail without bail after showing up to his DWI hearing an hour and a half late, carrying an open can of beer. What’s worse is that the dumb drunk was intoxicated and had four more cans in tow as he passed through courthouse security.

When a drunken Gruber appeared in front of Sullivan County Judge Frank LaBuda, he was asked if he enjoyed his “liquid lunch,” The Doomed Boozer stated that he did and apologized. Judge LaBuda then sent his drunk a$$ off to jail with no bail.

Gruber, who is a repeat DWI offender, was arrested on Dec. 27 in the town of Liberty and was out on $30,000 cash bail. Arn’t we glad they got that train wreck off the streets?

Jaime Pressly Arrested For DUI, Mug Shot Released

Jaime Pressly was in rear form this morning after being arrested last night for allegedly driving while under the influence. Bad karma came to the actress, best known for the 2005-09 sitcom My Name is Earl, after police pulled her over for committing a traffic violation.

In the mug shot, 33-year-old Jaime Pressly looks like she had a long night, but she did have her eyebrows perfectly plucked for the photo op.

Police performed a field sobriety test, which Pressly allegedly failed, and was therefore taken to a Santa Monica jail and later released on $15,000 bail.

You Are Definately DUI When You

Jean McCullugh, pictured to the left, was definately DUI when, according to police, she slammed into a police car while traveling at high speeds. She then proceeded to drive away leading police on a chase that ended on someone’s lawn. A breath test showed McCullugh to have a blood-alcohol content of 0.25 percent, three times the legal limit of 0.08 percent. But that is not the hottest mess in this situation. Upon approaching McCullugh’s car police found the woman’s seven year old daughter in the car.

Scott A. Witmer may have still been under the influence when he filed a motion claiming the DUI charges against him were unconstitutional and would be a “blatant act of TYRANNY,” and akin to “committing acts of treason, usurpation and tyranny.” His defense to the Pennslyvania judge was that the court had no jurisdiction to charge him with crimes. What were the grounds for this guys defense strategy? He claimed he was a sovereign man and therefore resided in himself and not in the state of Pennsylvania where he lives and was pulled over. Scott really thinks the court has no jurisdiction in the sovereign nation of Scott Witmer. But when that tiny nation gets locked up in a 5×8 cell he will surely have a national crisis. The hot mess in this situation? There is actually a movement that believe this stuff.

Henry C. Romeu, pictured to the right, was begging to be stopped when he was driving his car with three tires. But this DUI ready to crash dummy probaly never knew the difference. However the police did notice the sparks flying and pulled him over. His blood-shot eyes and uneven balance also tipped them off. The breathalizer test measured Romeu’s stinky intoxicated breath to be 0.2 BAC which was way above the limit. This drunk got jail and bail for his antics.
