Punches were thrown, a Taser was deployed and in the end, officers arrested two men after a scuffle inside a police station lobby, Kansas City police said. Officers released “edited” surveillance video of the incident on Wednesday.The video, police said, showed two men coming into the police station to file a complaint on Tuesday night.The men said they suffered abuse and harassment at the hands of a Kansas City police officer earlier in the day, a claim police were not able to substantiate, they said.

More hot crazy mess news out of New York City. Maurice Mizrahi out of asserts ”I loves New York” while he is being escorted out of a precinct by police officers. The brooklyn man was hunted down and arrested after police got a call from his mother who found 87 meters in her basement. A source claims the man pocketed almost $6,000 dollars worth of quaters from the machines. Interestingly enough, Mizrahi was arrested seven time already for stealing parking meters.

Police are baffled at what could have caused such a “fearless lawman” to have turned to crime. Some speculate the liver cancer could have caused him to go insane. Other’s speculate he was trying to comit suicide by cop either because the cancer, his crumbling marriage, or maybe some guilty feelings of past police work.
No one would have guessed Senator McCain would have chosen Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his running mate. The debates quickly spawned on whether she was a good choice or not although it seems that everyone agrees it was a huge gamble.
The obvious hot mess in this VP choice is how McCain chose a governor currently under investigation by the Alaskan legislature for the firing of a police commissioner who may have refused to fire her former brother in law who was a law officer and currently in a child custody battle with her sister. Aug 27th, 2008 | NEW YORK — New data show New York City residents are contracting the virus that causes AIDS at three times the national rate.
Assistant health commissioner Dr. Monica Sweeney says the figures underscore the continued need to promote HIV testing and prevention.
The city health department said Wednesday that almost 4,800 New Yorkers were infected with HIV in 2006. That number represents 72 of every 100,000 residents, compared to a national rate of 23 per 100,000.
The figures pinpoint when people became infected with the virus, not just when they were diagnosed.
Health officials attribute the city’s relatively high rate of new infections to its large populations of gay men, blacks and other groups on whom HIV has traditionally taken a heavy toll.
Not trying to be a conspiracy theorist but something just doesn’t seem right about the part blaming large black populations.
