Shigeo Tokuda spent many years living a double life. In one life, he is a retired family man who use to work as a travel agent. In the other life he is the old geezer who knows how to please her. After over 350 adult films, Tokuda is a big star in Japan’s emerging adult-movie genre known as “elder-porn.” Despite his old age the denture wearing senior citizen shows no sign of slowing down, making an average of one film a week and earning up to $500 a day.
For ten years, the Tokyo grandfather kept his dirty little secret from his family, telling them that he sometimes performed cameos in small-budget films. But what this senior citizen left out was that those scenes, often staged in would-be retirement homes, involved getting naked with actresses young enough to be his granddaughter. The films play upon well-documented Japanese male fantasies. In each, Tokuda plays a gray-haired sex master who shows of his skills on an assortment of young nurses and secretaries. Whips and sex toys often factor in the plot lines.
In 2006, Tokuda’s thespian philandering was blown wide open. The truth was ejaculated into the open when his grown daughter intercepted a fax describing an upcoming scene he’d been asked to perform. She and her mother confronted Tokuda, who was known publicly only by his stage name. The daughter complained that the job wasn’t one to be proud of and the wife passed on the dish-throwing and lawyer-calling to remind the old man that this kind of work can be very “difficult on him physically.” Tokuda did suffer a non-job related stroke in 1995, so his wife wasn’t all that “unreasonable” to be concerned for his health.
Tokuda says he is not ashamed of his job but he may become more conservative in the coming years. “The Old Geezer Who Knows How To Please Her” may find this difficult because most of his competition is dying off and the conditions are extremely favorable for his genre of film. Japan has the most elderly population as well as the most sexless population on the planet.
